
QUALITY LAWN MAINTENANCE
THE SCOTT TURF CO. is contracted to perform the following
duties for a one-year period.
The grass will
be cut on a weekly basis during the mowing season starting on March 10th and continuing
through October 31st. (Approx. 30 cuttings). As Needed visits
from November 1 - March 10th. Mowing height is 3.75-4 inches tall for all Fescue
lawns.
Trimming with a
gas-powered trimmer will be performed weekly, or as needed during the mowing season.
The curbs and sidewalks
will be edged with a gas-powered edger every week or as needed during the mowing
season.
All natural
areas will be edged using a gas-powered trimmer every week or as needed during
the mowing season.
Herbicides will
be used in all natural areas; walkways and all other areas that
are to be kept weed free. Other weeds and non-desired plant growth will be hand
pulled accordingly.
After each
session the curbs, sidewalks, and entranceways will be blown
clean of debris and grass clippings.
Shrubbery will be pruned
no less than two (2) times per season; some areas may be pruned more often than
others depending on growth habits and plant variety.
The grounds will
be fertilized four (5) times per year, including two (2)
applications of weed pre-emergence (March 1 and May 1), lime may
need to be applied, and broad leaf weed post-emergence will be
applied when necessary as will fungicides. Organic products are available by request.
The grounds will
be seeded, aerated and fertilized in the fall. This is necessary
to maintain a healthy lawn and soil.
Litter will be
removed from the lawn areas and natural areas before each mowing
service; any large-scale trash problems may result in an
additional fee.
The leaves will be removed from
the turf during the autumn months using bagging mowers and leaf vacuums. All leaves will be
spread inconspicuously in one or some natural areas on the property or we can
remove them from the property.
During the
winter months (Jan-Mar) fresh hardwood mulch or pine needles will
be spread in all of the specified natural areas of the property.
December-January
all Crape Myrtle�s, Pampas Grass, Monkey Grass, lower tree
limbs, etc. will pruned accordingly.
Additional Cost Services:
Spring and fall
bedding annuals.h3>
Bush hogging of
grassed areas not included in maintenance schedule.
Tree removal,
dead wooding, and stump removal.
Landscape
construction, patios, retaining walls, irrigation and outdoor lighting.
Pesticides such
as fungicide, herbicide, and insecticides can be applied to
controlled areas.
The yearly contracted price includes all the labor for the
above mentioned services. All materials used throughout the
course of the contract are not included in the monthly contracted
price and will be added to the monthly invoice.
The yearly contracted price is billed in twelve (12) monthly
payments, due within 20 days from billing date. Late charges on
delinquent accounts. Invoices contain a dated
and detailed work order describing the duties performed for that
month�s statement. Each party may cancel this contract by
giving a standard thirty-day notice.
All work is to be completed in workman like manner according
to a standard practice. Any alterations or deviations from the
above mentioned specifications, involving extra cost will be
executed only upon written or verbal orders and will become an
additional charge over and above the contracted price. All
agreements contingent upon strikes, accidents, or delays beyond
our control, i.e., weather conditions.

of services agreement. All actual contracts will be presented and signed at the
